Changes to Our Security Policies
As of December 18th, 2006, The Richwood Banking Company has updated its online security precautions with anyone associated with Online Banking.
Security Precautions
All e-mail notifications from this online service will show irrichwoodbank@rrohio.com as the sender e-mail address. In addition, e-mail notifications coming from our online service will not include our institution’s logo or any other graphics or attachments.
Please note, e-mail notifications from The Richwood Banking Company will never ask
you for any personal information. Please contact us immediately
if you receive any e-mail that appears to be from our institution that
does not reflect our institution’s e-mail address indicated above,
includes graphics or attachments, or asks you to enter any personal information.
We
recommend that you always access our website using the same web address
you normally use, rather than clicking a URL or web site address included
in any e-mail that you have not specifically requested be sent to you (such
as your “Notify Me” selections).
The Richwood Banking Company is constantly striving to provide the most secure online access to your accounts for our Internet banking service. In order to strengthen the security of accessing your online accounts, effective December 18, 2006, we implemented an online security system that may require you to do one of two things:
- Answer your security question correctly to gain access to Internet Banking. Please take time to review your security question and answer in the 'Manage Your Accounts' section under the “user services” tab and make sure it is up to date.
Or
- Receive a security code via the e-mail address we have on file for you which would needed to gain access to Internet Banking. Please take time to review your e-mail address in the 'Manage Your Accounts' section under the “user services” tab and make sure it is up to date.
