There are no additional qualifications for this account. Every monthly qualification cycle you do the following for the Kasasa Cash rewards, you automatically qualify for the Saver rate:

  • Have at least 12 debit card purchases post and clear per monthly qualification cycle*
  • Have at least one direct deposit or one auto debit post and clear per monthly qualification cycle*
  • Receive free paperless e-Statements

If you don't qualify in a given cycle, don't worry about it—you will still earn our base rate of interest for that period. And you can get the Kasasa Saver rate back the very next cycle you qualify!

*Minimum to open Kasasa Cash account is $50 and $50 for Kasasa Saver. Annual percentage Yield (APY) accurate as of 7/12/11. Kasasa Cash rate tiers are as follows: 2.50% applies to balances of $0.01-$10,000.00 and 0.50% applies to balances over $10,000.00 if qualifications are met during the monthly qualification cycle. All balances will earn 0.10% if qualifications are not met. The advertised Kasasa Cash APY is based on compounding interest. The interest earned in Kasasa Cash is automatically transferred to Kasasa Saver each statement cycle and does not compound. The actual interest paid may be less than the advertised APY. The Kasasa Saver APYs may be less than the Kasasa Cash APYs. Kasasa Saver rate tiers are as follows: 1.25% APY applies to balances of $0.01-$25,000 and 0.50% APY applies to balances over $25,000 if qualifications are met during the monthly qualification cycle on Kasasa Cash account. 0.10% APY applies to all balances if qualifications are not met on Kasasa Cash account. All qualifying transactions must post and clear the Kasasa Cash account during the monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more business days from the transaction date to post to an account from the date the transaction is made. PIN based transactions do not count toward qualifying debit card transactions. Intra-bank transfers do not count as qualifying ACH transactions. 1. Make sure you use your debit card as a signature based transaction. (as credit)

2. Remember your qualifications:

  • Use your debit card 12 times (18 for Cashback) during your qualification cycle.
  • Receive E-statements
  • Have at least 1 automatic debit or credit into your account monthly within the qualification cycle.

3. Your transactions must post and clear during the qualification cycle to count.

  • FYI- Some vendors will batch transactions together when they send them to us so they will only show as one transaction. Also, they may hold them for a few days until they send their transaction files out to the banks.
